About VAC – Improving Local Lives Kirklees
We are pleased to announce that VAC have been successful in securing funding from Greater Huddersfield CCG and Kirklees Council to continue to deliver our work in Kirklees during the period 2018/19. We will continue to provide support and advice services around the following:
Community Voices – Community Voices are individuals working in the VCSE sector who are trained to engage with the local population on Greater Huddersfield CCG’s behalf and talk to them about changes and developments in health services. Community Voices give communities a louder voice and help to make sure that health services are developed in response to the needs of local people.
Quality For Health (QFH) is VACs unique quality assurance system for the VCSE delivering health services that enables organisations to demonstrate the difference their organisations make to service users by delivering high quality services.
Organisational Development Support – providing development and funding support to groups and organisations that participate in Community Voices and that are working towards achieving Quality For Health.
Can my organisation get support?
We offer support to VCSE organisations working in Greater Huddersfield who are part of the Community Voices project and that are working towards achieving Quality For Health. This support is tailored to meet your needs and at a time that suits you including evenings and weekends.
